1.Introduction
Bilix AI (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides an AI-powered analytics and strategy platform for content creators. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Bilix AI, you agree to the practices described here.
2.Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
2.2 YouTube Data
If you connect a YouTube channel, we access publicly available data about that channel and its videos via the YouTube Data API v3 — including channel statistics (subscriber count, view count), video metadata (titles, thumbnails, publish dates), and public engagement numbers (views, likes, comments). We do not access private YouTube Analytics data, your YouTube account credentials, or any data beyond what YouTube's public API exposes.
2.3 Usage Data & AI Memory
We store the analyses you run, your saved content plans, your preferences (theme, default AI model, analysis mode), and durable creator context synthesized into our AI Memory System (such as channel niche, validated video concepts, style preferences, and stated goals). You maintain complete control to view, edit, or wipe your AI Memory at any time.
2.4 What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect government identifiers, biometric data, or financial payment details. We do not use advertising trackers, and we never sell, lease, or monetize your personal data to advertisers or brokers.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide creator intelligence, outlier analysis, and strategic content blueprints
- Personalize your workflow and maintain durable context across conversations
- Maintain and improve the reliability and security of our platform
- Communicate with you regarding service updates or account notices
We do not use your data for any purpose beyond operating, securing, and improving Bilix AI.
4.Third-Party Services & Cross-Border Data Processing
Bilix AI relies on the following third-party infrastructure providers to operate:
- Google OAuth & Supabase — for secure account authentication, session management, and encrypted database storage.
- YouTube Data API v3 — for public channel metrics and video metadata.
- AI Infrastructure Providers (Cross-Border Transfer) — To generate creator insights, transcript breakdowns, and conversational intelligence, prompt queries are processed by specialized third-party large language model providers located outside India (in the United States — including Groq Inc. and Google Gemini). Data is processed solely on our behalf to generate analysis and recommendations. It is not sold, retained for independent commercial training, or shared with data brokers.
- Analytics Providers (Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity) — We use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use Bilix AI. These may set cookies and share usage data with Google and Microsoft, hosted outside India.
These providers process data strictly under established enterprise confidentiality and data protection standards in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
5.YouTube API Services Compliance

Bilix AI uses the YouTube API Services. By using Bilix AI's YouTube-related features, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy ( https://policies.google.com/privacy ).
You can revoke Bilix AI's access to your Google/YouTube data at any time via the Google security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
6.Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies and session tokens (via Supabase Auth) solely to keep you securely signed in. We use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use Bilix AI. These may set cookies and share usage data with Google and Microsoft, hosted outside India. Analytics cookies are only set after statutory DPDP consent has been granted. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal data.
7.Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your profile, connected channel data, analysis history, and saved content plans from our systems.
8.Data Security & Incident Safeguards
We implement stringent technical and organizational security safeguards, including industry-standard TLS encryption in transit, row-level access controls in database storage, and restricted credential scopes. In the event of a confirmed personal data breach affecting your information, we will notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board in accordance with statutory DPDP breach notification timeframes.
9.AI Memory System & Your Granular Rights
Bilix AI includes an optional, persistent AI Memory System that extracts durable creator facts across conversations (such as channel niche, verified content ideas, audience preferences, and stated growth goals) to make future recommendations progressively smarter and more tailored.
You maintain 100% control over your AI Memory:
- Memory Off-Switch: You can toggle AI Memory on or off anytime under Settings → Privacy & Data. When toggled off, no conversational facts are extracted or persisted.
- Transparency (View): You can inspect the exact text and durable facts Bilix AI has stored about your channel at any time.
- Self-Correction (Edit): You can directly edit, rewrite, or remove any facts stored in your memory document and save your changes immediately.
- Independent Erasure (Clear): You can completely wipe your AI Memory at any time with a single click, completely independent of deleting your account or chat history.
10.Age Restriction & Minor Protection (18+)
In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, Bilix AI is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Under the DPDP framework, any person under 18 is classified as a child, and Bilix AI does not knowingly process, solicit, or maintain personal data from minors.
A mandatory age declaration gate is enforced during user onboarding. If we learn that personal data of an individual under 18 has been collected, that data will be promptly expunged.
11.Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In accordance with Rule 4 of the DPDP Rules, if you have questions, concerns, or grievances regarding the processing of your personal data, your consent records, or wish to exercise any Data Principal rights (access, correction, erasure, or withdrawal of consent), please contact our designated Grievance Support:
Response SLA: We aim to acknowledge and substantively respond to all grievances within 7 to 30 business days depending on the nature and complexity of the complaint.
12.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements to our platform or legal developments. When material updates are published, we will update the “Last Updated” timestamp and present an updated consent notice to users where required.
